We are Now 15 weeks into 2020 and we're 3 weeks into the isolation/lockdown game and while my life has not really changed aside from not being able to go out for my weekly beer at the pub on show day. The rest of the world is facing some real changes many people have suddenly found out that life is allot harder than they though it was.
In some places we are heeded towards a dystopian future and in others people and communities are pulling together to deal the challenges placed in front of them. As a race humans will survive and we will move into our new future but many sections of society will never be the same again. Many people have discovered that what they though was important such as plastic bags and political correctness fall to the side as soon as their life is in danger.
We now have a new term that is becoming normal, after all it takes about 2 weeks to develop a habit and about a month to solidify it. The new term is “Social Distancing” and it is anything but Social it is “Anti-social Distancing” but it is becoming the new norm
So Relax people take a breath and realize that while our world is now changed forever we will get though it. Save your sanity and your Amygdala and find out why your not gonna die by listening to the No Agenda Show
I have some news from the world of WordPress for you today as well as some great plugins.
Let get to the fun we have today.

ClassicPress Options
ClassicPress is a fast growing fork of WordPress that is starting to come into its own. ClassicPress is focused on Business Websites runs fast and is looking pretty good. There are a few plugins specifically for ClassicPress and all plugins for WordPress 4.9.9 work well on it. I do believe it has a future.
One thing I am looking forward to in the ClassicPress World is the expansion of the number of ClassicPress specific plugins and their own repository. Currently there are not a lot of ClassicPress specific plugins but I do know it is going to grow and I'll have to expand this segment then. Who knows, it could take over the whole show.
This week for ClassicPress I have:

The Lowdown:
With the new world Order upon us and many groups like churches not meeting currently they still need those Tithes/Donations and I have been approached a couple times in the last week to add this functionality to their sites. After helping and explain how they can get a PayPal account setup, I used this simple plugin to create some simple buttons for their site.
It is easy to set up and configure and allows you to place buttons everywhere you want the, .

Granular Controls For Elementor
https://wpfavs.com/plugins/granular-controls-for-elementor
https://wordpress.org/plugins/granular-controls-for-elementor/
What he has to say:
Custom controls for Elementor Page Builder.
Granular Controls for Elementor brings additional “custom” controls to Elementor Page Builder plugin.
Hi John this is a fantastic Plugin and this is why I love it, this has been one of my complaints with Elementor–exiting from a page you are working on to go directly back to the Dashboard TOO MANY CLICKS— this is the feature that makes this so great:
—– The Exit Point can now be set to the Dashboard, the current page/post/library edit screen, the pages list, posts list or library list. Also it gives you the option to leave the page you are working on and created a new tab that brings the root dashboard!! Fantastic. It saves time and it is so cool
The rest of the Features
Keep all accordions closed on page load.
Turn off Elementor dashboard widget
Apply a preset color skin to the editor panel
Apply the Elementor UI hack #2 as seen in the video above.
Set any Section or Column to appear after a certain time – Delayed Content
Schedule visibility of any Section or column for a given time period (Days & Hours) – Scheduled Content
Parallax option for sections. Additional controls added.
Particles option for sections.
Elementor Library Templates as the Admin Dashboard Welcome Notice Page.
Draggable Editor Bar with 1 click exit to Dashboard + a View Live Page button that opens in a new tab
Exit Point button text can now be changed to custom text.

Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll
https://wordpress.org/plugins/sticky-menu-or-anything-on-scroll/
What he says:
John if you look at this training video which is where I got this from he explains what it does and it si much easier too understand than reading what it does.
https://youtu.be/1cScCjyAwJE
Fast forward to 31:50 he is making a left positioned vertical menu (something I am doing right now and I found this tutorial very helpful this guy is really good at design and using Elementor.
But here is the official description from the plug in website:
Description
The Sticky Menu (Or Anything) On Scroll plugin for WordPress allows you to make any element on your pages “sticky” as soon as it hits the top of the page when you scroll down. Although this is commonly used to keep menus at the top of your page, the plugin allows you to make ANY element sticky (such as a Call To Action box, a logo, etc.)
A little bit of basic HTML/CSS knowledge is required. You just need to know how to pick the right selector for the element you want to make sticky, and you need to be sure it’s a unique selector. Sometimes a simple selector like “nav”, “#main-menu”, “.menu-main-menu-1” is enough. Other times you will have to be more detailed and use a more specific selector such as “header > ul:first-child” or “nav.top .menu-header ul.main”.
