Johns Rant:
Its episode 460 and while there is participation this week from you the producers I am still looking for more and while this is helping to push the sword of Damocles off to the side a bit further. Don't Let Up, Keep the feedback coming….. This is #19 of 52 episodes for 2020..
As we are now 19 weeks into 2020 and 8 weeks into the isolation/lock down game. Our government overlords are coming to their senses at least here in Beautiful BC as they have given us permission (thank You Overlords) to finally get out and meet in groups this May long weekend. I think this beats my record grounding as a teenager. You will just have to imagine what I did to earn that grounding..
So its party time this long weekend, get out and do something.
These are strange times indeed.
So, relax folks take a breath, go for a walk, build a garden and realize that while our world is now changed forever we will get though it. Save your sanity and your Amygdala and find out why your not gonna die by listening to the No Agenda Show
I do have more show spaces coming up for guest hosts, if you would like to join me as a guest host on the show please reach out to me at john@wppro.ca You can also go to https://wppluginsatoz.com/guesthost/

I have some news from the world of WordPress for you today, as well as some great plugins.
Let get to the fun we have today.
WordPress News and Info
Before we jump into the news, a quick question about WordPress.
WordPress has seen some boosts during the Rona Virus and I am wondering how many other CMS systems and quick builders have had a boost also. What will happen to the leader as they head down what I feel are crazy paths?

ClassicPress Options
ClassicPress is a fast growing fork of WordPress that is starting to come into its own. ClassicPress is focused on Business Websites runs fast and is looking pretty good. There are a few plugins specifically for ClassicPress and all plugins for WordPress 4.9.9 work well on it. I do believe it has a future.
One thing I am looking forward to in the ClassicPress World is the expansion of the number of ClassicPress specific plugins and their own repository. Currently there are not a lot of ClassicPress specific plugins but I do know it is going to grow and I'll have to expand this segment then. Who knows, it could take over the whole show.
This week for ClassicPress I have:

Sticky Header Effects for Elementor
https://wordpress.org/plugins/sticky-header-effects-for-elementor/
Sticky Header Effects for Elementor adds useful options that are missing from the “sticky” header feature introduced in Elementor Pro 2.0. Giving users the option to change the background color and height when the visitor starts scrolling down the page. This allows for a “transparent” menu effect that can become any color, semi-transparent or solid, once the visitor begins to scroll.

Listener Feedback / Audio Clips
Hello John,
Your podcasts are great and well formatted.
Question: I enjoy coding text only websites.
May I directly code everything HTML/CSS in WordPress?
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Richard Hopp

*** request for you the producers*** Still need
Hi John.
Been a while, and hopefully everything is going well for you over there.
Wondering if I could pick your brain on a plugin needed for a client? They want to be able to send a quote from WordPress for some products and service, and have the client able to log into WP to approve/question/pay for the quote.
I didn’t see anything in Woocommerce to manage something of this scope, and was wondering if you had any other recommendations?
Keep the faith on the podcast, man. We’re still listening!
