With great appreciation for the No Agenda Show for their inspiration of ideas and the occasional stolen sound clip.

Ambers' Rant:
This is #19 of 52 episodes for 2021. Its Episode 511, and things are looking pretty good outside! All except for the Scotch Broom, which seems to have taken over every single hill in my area… it's really no wonder I'm waking up feeling like I have a cold every morning lately. Thank goodness for allergy medicine!
I hope everyone out there is managing to get out and enjoy the better weather that is slowly coming our way! If you live by some trees, or some type of water whether it be fresh or salt, start taking your lunch break to go out and just sit quietly by tress and/or water. Throw on some music, read a book, have a coffee or a tea, and just soak in that vitamin D. Whether you work from home or in an office, getting yourself outside once a day is even better than hiding away in a chill out zone inside. The fresh air and sunshine on your skin refreshes and energizes you like nobodies business! And bonus, you don't need to remember to turn off social media or the news when you go for a walk, it's just simply not there.
Just remember to ignore your phone for that little bit of your day.
Rinse and repeat as often as needed.

ClassicPress Options
ClassicPress is a fast growing fork of WordPress that is starting to come into its own. ClassicPress is focused on Business Websites, runs fast and is looking pretty good. There are a few plugins specifically for ClassicPress and all plugins for WordPress 4.9.9 work well on it. I do believe it has a future.
One thing I am looking forward to in the ClassicPress World is the expansion of the number of ClassicPress specific plugins and their own repository. Currently there are not a lot of ClassicPress specific plugins but I do know it is going to grow and I'll have to expand this segment then. Who knows, it could take over the whole show.
This week for ClassicPress I have:

John's Plugin
Out of Stock Message for WooCommerce
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wc-out-of-stock-message/
The Lowdown:
This is a pretty cool little plugin that may help you with making more sales. You may for instance use it to tell folks you are temporarily out and if they reach out to you, you can still help or in my case I do not want people trying to buy certain items on the site but they are available.
Rating 4 Dragons
Side note; wow does the search function suck! Searched title no results on this one but add the author just to get it to show.

Amber's Plugin
Disable Gutenberg
https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-gutenberg/
The Lowdown:
This is kind of neat. Great for people who have Gutenberg but want to use Classic Editor for post and page creation.
All you need to do is plug it in, activate it, and poof! Everything Gutenberg is now hidden, and all you have to work with is Classic Editor style.
If you find that you don't actually like it after all, you can simply deactivate the plugin, and you have Gutenberg back.
This is also great if you have a theme or post / page style that Gutenberg does not work for creating. Just flip back and forth as needed!
Also, totally free.

John's plugin
Weather Forecast Widget
https://wordpress.org/plugins/weather-forecast-widget/
The Lowdown:
If you have a site that, in anyway, has relations to the weather this might be a great plugin for you. I have it for use with ‘The Hike Club for Men' (https://HikeClubforMen.com) so that when I schedule a hike people can see right away what the weather forecast will be for the day of the hike.
I think it will also come in useful when i start adding more gardening content to the site also.

Amber's plugin
Super Progressive Web Apps
https://wordpress.org/plugins/super-progressive-web-apps/
The Lowdown:
This is awesome! This plugin takes your site, and turns it into an app on peoples phones!
The person will need to download the app onto their phone, just like a regular app. Once that's done, the users can come back to your website by launching the app from their home screen and interact with your website through an app-like interface. Your return visitors will experience almost-instant loading times and enjoy the great performance benefits of your PWA!
They have great support available, and the free version gives you pretty well everything you need. Though be warned, when something like this is free, even just has a free version, you are the product.
Their premium version has a lot more options. Due to this, and the fact that you will be their product, I marked it down a notch.

John's plugin
User Activity Tracking and Log
https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-activity-tracking-and-log/
The Lowdown:
If you have a membership site, or one with multiple access, you may want something like this to see what people are up to. This will track them and see what they are up to. It is especially useful if you build out a site for a client and it keeps getting broken. This may tell you what people are doing when it broke.
Rating 4 Dragons.

Amber's Plugin
Remove Social ID for WP
https://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-social-id/
The Lowdown:
This is a brand new plugin! (I think) Though they have a great idea going here.
Face Book has added individual URLS to each user and visitor; because of this, cache and other various functionalities on WP have been breaking down.
What this plugin does, is it removes those individual URLS from FB so that your site won't muck up anymore – and it does this by scanning the incoming URL for FBCLID, and redirects the URL after removing the querystring.
It seems like a great idea! I would love for someone out there to give it a go on their own site and let me know what they think, whether or not they notice a difference.
