While working on a membership site i was in need of a simple redirect on login plugin. This plugin allows you to set up redirect in such a way that make it easy to redirect specific user roles with specific capabilities and stillhave blanket rules for all other users. This plugin make the task of setting up redirects on login an easy task which is sometimes needed when you have a site with multiple roles and you need to to arrive at specific pages first.

The Lowdown:
This is an oldie but a goodie, I have been using this plugin off and on for about 7 years now and it has had its ups and downs. I have not used it for a couple years now but recently had need to try it again. It seems they have migrated to the freemuim model from the free model. All the items that used to be free in the plugin are now paid addons such as redirection, recaptcha, profiles and notifications. While at first I was like bummer I went ahead and bought the extension pack as I was in need of a couple of them.
The plugin does perform allot smoother than I remember and creates the login, registration pages better than it ever has. Seems the freemium model is working for them.
