WordPress News and other interesting WordPress related posts:
After finishing one project and getting started on a new one this plugin is a recommended one with the theme I am using to build a company Intranet site. As the site will be interactive for a company with 100+ remote workforce. This theme will be using Buddypress and several other related plugins. Staring with this one it allows for users to receive live notifications when someone else sends them a connection request. It appears to work pretty time will tell.
This is a drag and drop framework for building your WordPress website out. It is on par with most other frameworks I have used. It is pretty easy to use and has several modules that you can activate separately. The theme I amusing came with this framework and has its own custom modules for working with it. During the coming weeks as I work though this project I will be discussing them.
This is a file management plugin in particular for uploaded files to your site again a recommended plugin for this new theme. I may have more to say on this as the project progresses but at the moment this is a pretty nice plugin to allow both back-end and front-end
file management You can also display the files to your users in tables and lists. You can show/hide files based on user role and more. With support for YouTube abd Vimeo you can even have your off site videos.
Starting in version 39 of Chrome for Android on Lollipop, you’ll now be able to use the theme-color meta tag to set the toolbar color. This means no more Seattle gray toolbars! The syntax is pretty simple: the plugin will add a meta tag to your page’s with the name=”theme-color”, and set the content to any valid CSS color using our color picker!
Email sender gives you the ability to easily send a custom HTML email from the WordPress administration screen. You can send to existing users or add your own recipients. You can send to multiple recipients and choose to send group emails or individual emails. Emails can also have an attachment. A new menu item called ‘Send Email’ is added in the Admin panel. This plugin is also translatable.
