Today we are reviewing our usual allotment of six great plugins.
John
Coming back from my Turkey induced coma of Canadian Thanksgiving.
Today's set of plugins come as a request by Romain Capelle off our Facebook page.
Romain is looking for a plugin that creates image galleries in particular mason style.
Image Photo Gallery Final Tiles Grid
https://wordpress.org/plugins/final-tiles-grid-gallery-lite/
The Lowdown:
This plugin give you some limited ability in its free version to create a mason grid gallery, the pro features llook limited and one of the biggest issues with it is that the mason grid is all smae size sqaure images. I could not find a setting that allowed for random sized images such as Romain is looking for.

Post SMTP Mailer/Email Log
https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-smtp/
Post is a next-generation SMTP Mailer, software that assists in the delivery of email generated by your WordPress site. Post is the first and only plugin to support the latest security standards. With OAuth 2.0, there is no need to store your email passsword in the WordPress database where it might be found.
The built-in Email Log is an invaluable resource for diagnosing problems with emails. Even hosts that block the standard SMTP ports, like GoDaddy or Bluehost, can’t stop your email as Post can deliver via HTTPS if it can’t use SMTP.

Gallery – Photo Gallery, Image Gallery, Theme Gallery, Blog Gallery WordPress Plugin
https://wordpress.org/plugins/blog-mechanics-theme-gallery/
The Lowdown:
This one is pretty close to what Romain is looking for. It does create a random sized image gallery not quite what he is looking for but close. It is adjustable in size but limited on number of images per page until you upgrade. it has a few adjustments that can allow it to fit into your site quite nicely. Not too bad of a mason grid gallery.

Admin Menu in Frontend
https://wordpress.org/plugins/admin-menu-in-frontend/
The customizer is great, but it always ends up in the back end, out of proper sizing and scope. Admin Menu in Frontend allows you to show administrator menu when viewing site. It is a simple solution to speed up your developing time.

Easy Image Collage
https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-image-collage/
The Lowdown:
This plugin comes the closest to what Romain is looking for. While it creates a grid of multi sized images it does have limited adjustments of the grid and images but it is the easiest to use of the plugins presented today. With the premium you can gain a couple additional items such as collages and captions for images. You can also allow for easy share with Pinterest using this plugin. All in all pretty decent plugin.
