Media from FTP
https://wordpress.org/plugins/media-from-ftp/
Sometimes, uploading large media files directly through the WordPress interface can let you down. Regrettably, WordPress doesn’t natively support alternate media file upload options. While you can always upload files through your web server’s control panel, a custom script, or File Transfer Protocol (FTP), WordPress does not register those files.
Media from FTP was created to solve this exact challenge. Whether you’re having troubles uploading files through the WordPress interface or simply prefer FTP, Media from FTP does what it says. It means that you can upload media files via FTP, then display your media within the WordPress Media Library as with any other images, videos or content files.
Key Features:
– Lets you look up media files in a specific physical folder, then register them inside WordPress.
– Allows you to set media properties such as date and time stamps.
= Lets you set a predefined schedule to run the plugin at specific intervals.

WPPM Login Security Notification
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wppm-login-security-notification/
This plugin will send an email to the administrator each time a user logs in successfully or fails to connect. The intent behind this plugin is to improve the security of your WordPress website with a “doorman” type of interaction that lets you see who is coming in. This isn't a full security solution, but it does at least provide a good indication as to who is logging in. Also good for monitoring your client site usage if you are a developer maintaining sites professionally.

Listener Feedback / Audio Clips
We like listener feedback you can leave feedback via our contact page, Speakpipe or email us direct.
Listener Steve asks question via Twitter:
I am trying to make a night mode switch for my wordpress website but since I don't know how to code, I am limited in my ability to make one. Can you suggest anything that will provide my site users with a night mode switch?
Answer:
For those of you unfamiliar with the term, night mode is just a way to automatically or manually change from blue to yellow light, when it is night time. I did find a plugin for you that does just what you are looking for. It's called Night Mode for WordPress, which you can find at CodeCanyon for $17 . Certainly a much better option than having to go through the frustrations of coding it yourself.

Social Shares – Social Pug
https://wordpress.org/plugins/social-pug/
The Lowdown:
As we move forward with WordPress you may have started to notice as I have that some of your standard plugins have fallen by the wayside and been left abandoned in the ditch of the Internet freeway. I have recently had to start the hunt for a replacement for a plugin that sets the sharing buttons at the bottom of posts and pages and can offer up a side floating one also. This plugin works pretty well to fit that bill, it is current and seems pretty stable. The free version gives you the main social sites, twitter, faceboook, pinterest and google+, if you nneed more than that you can always go premium starting at $24

RSS Featured Image
https://wordpress.org/plugins/rss-featured-image/
Add the featured image to your RSS feed (in the media:content). Performs incredibly well together with Mailchimp (|RSSITEM:IMAGE|). Lightweight and straightforward, no options, no clutter in your WordPress dashboard. Experiment with this on your own and tie it to your newsletter for a very good automated newsletter experience with your new posts.
